Hurst Village Scratch Band. - 1st Oct 2017

Hurst Village Scratch Band. Event Image

Do you have a passion for music? Would you like to meet others to play music in a large group? Are you looking for something your whole family can do together? Look no further: Anyone aged 7 to 107 is welcome to come to the first ever Hurst Village Scratch Band at St Lawrence School Hall.

From absolute beginners to experienced players, all are welcome to an afternoon of music making in a fun, friendly and relaxed environment. Bring any instrument along and we’ll create a brand new piece of music, with Fraser Trainer and Tim Steiner that everyone can take part in to celebrate the conclusion to this year’s Hurst Festival!

No ability to read music is necessary, any ability level is welcome; all that’s needed are open minds and ears and a desire to make music with other people in your local community. If you don’t have your own instrument, come and play percussion (which we will provide) or sing…

Those under the age of 12 should be accompanied by an adult please.

At 4.30pm we would like to invite a small, supportive, friendly audience of family and friends to share in the celebratory conclusion of our music-making session together…
