Rectory soiree – Pavlos Carvalho

Join Pavlos Carvalho, cellist and Artistic Director of Ensemble Reza, for a magical evening celebrating Bach’s Solo Cello Suites 1, 3, and 5.  These Suites push the cello to its limits, and many believe were a labour of love for Bach. In this concert not only will you be immersed in the sublime music of Bach but will also learn why these suites are regarded as the most important in the cello repertoire.

Doors open at 7.30pm; performance starts at 8pm.

 

To help cover our administration fees, a one-off Booking Fee of £1 will be added to your cart if it contains any Event Tickets other than free events.
